*14 Community Forestry Day - Tree Planting: Join us in the forest to plant the future, one tree at a time. We have some new ground to plant, and a few places to fill in where seedlings did not survive from the past couple years. Other projects on our to-do list include slash piling and firewood splitting.

9:00am Morning tree planting session, includes training

1:00pm Afternoon tree planting session, includes training
2:00pm Tour recently thinned and planted units and “time-travel” through a variety of age stands to learn more about sustainable forestry; 90-minutes; some walking on rough ground.
*21 Clackamas County Tree School 8:15 am - 5:15 pm
This event is held at Clackamas Community College. Pre-registration required! Refer to the Tree School Catalogue for descriptions of courses offered.
