Guests and volunteers learn by doing and share their talents with others. We offer activities appropriate for all ages: individuals and families, youth and community groups are welcome.

*12 Community Forestry Day – Trail Tenders: Help repair our trail system in preparation for busy summer months ahead. We will also continue to reduce the fuel load in our Fire-Safe Demonstration Project. If you would enjoy BBQing lunch for our volunteers call ahead to arrange: the cook is everyone’s favorite person!

2:00pm Tour a variety of habitats and management units, allowing an insiders look at sustainable forestry; 90-minutes, some walking on rough ground
4:00pm Put tools away and clean up
