Guests and volunteers learn by doing and share their talents with others. We offer activities appropriate for all ages: individuals and families, youth and community groups are welcome.

*9 Community Forestry Day - Tree Planting Site Preparation and Crew Leader Training:
Tree planting team leaders are needed! This year we are hosting a special training and planting site prep day in January.
8:30 am Team leaders arrive, volunteers assemble
9:00 am Volunteer Team Leader training
Noon Lunch- please call ahead 503-632-2150
1:00 pm Planting site preparation and marking
2:00 pm Tour: "time-travel" through a variety of stand-ages to learn more about sustainable forestry; 90-minutes; some walking on rough ground. Please call ahead to attend a tour.
4:00 pm Put tools away and clean up
