*13 Community Forestry Day - Winter To-do’s:
Join us in the forest for one of these seasonal projects: pruning and slash piling, firewood cutting and splitting, site preparation and tree planting.

1:00 pm Volunteer projects continue
2:00 pm Tour recently thinned and planted units and "time-travel" through a variety of age stands to learn more about sustainable forestry; 90-minutes; some walking on rough ground.
*15 Tree School Registration Open:
The 2009 Clackamas County Tree School will be held at Clackamas Community College on Saturday, March 21. Pre-registration is required. Historically, many classes have filled within the first couple weeks - so do not delay for best choice of courses. Refer to the
Tree School catalogue and registration packet.
