Community Forestry Day, Be one of Elves: December days can be dark or bright, either way we go outside to prune young conifers and deal with slash one way or another. Looking ahead, we will also be laying out planting grids and seedling fill-in for the coming months (January-March). Indoor chores will include gear inventory, equipment and tool maintenance and sharpening, general cleaning in shop and office. If you have a favorite winter recipe you want to share for lunch with our volunteers, please join our community in the forest.
